Palma light fixture
This collection of neon light fixtures came to life through mutual appreciation between artist Paulina Otero and neon studio Element Ten. This collaboration began with the intent to merge our crafts to create one-of-a-kind functional lighting.
This exploration of materials, color and shape led us to the creation of eight different light fixtures. We were fascinated with the effects that neon light created when layered with Paulina’s signature acrylic shapes. As a collection, these playful artworks represent the best of what happens when craft and cultures come together.
Palma- palm tree (Spanish) is made using iridescent, frosted green and white acrylic. When turned on, neon light is blue. Details are in pink.
