Marigold earrings
These Marigold earrings were created in celebration of the Day of the Death. Our ancestors related the color of this flower with the sun, which is the reason why it is used as an important element in the ofrendas that commemorate those who have already passed to a new life. These flower are meant to guide the souls to their corresponding altar. This flower can also be seen as a symbol of life and death. They are made using a daffodil and neon orange acrylic. They are engraved and hand painted with a gradient which highlights the petals of the flower. Each earring measures 2.5" in length.
